Leila is customer service representative for SS. From a facebook ad I bought and financed through AFFIRM these devices on March 30th 2026 making payments of $42.50 (total cost $169.99)
March 31st I contacted Leila and asked that the product not be sent due to family emergency and needing funds
Immediately heard back from her, offered me a 15% refund if I kept the product instead of mailing it back, sent a letter back to her informing her that although I appreciated her offer, I would need to decline, I informed her that since the product had already been sent, I would NOT ACCEPT THE PACKAGE ANDE WOULD HAVE THE USPS SEND IT ABKE TO THEM DIRECTLY.
On April 4th, the package arrived at my USPS center and due to my instructions I had left with my mailman, the package was intercepted by USPS and rerouted back to sender.
April 4th tracking states customer refused package returning to sender
April 5, left Billings Montana to be returned to sender
April 8 package arrives at the Los Angeles USPS distribution center to be sent back to sender
I filed a dispute with AFFIrm on 31 March
Affirm tells me in order to process a refund, they must wait to hear from the vendor saying they have product in hand BUT I should go ahead and continue making payments( which I saw much later on that their policy says that if a dispute is opened all payments should be paused)
I continue and pay off the the loan amount of $169,99 on May 11
On May 12, I call AAfirm, have had no responses back since the initial correspondence with Leila at the end of March, told them to file another dispute with sender as AFFIRM, unknownst to me had closed my case without informing me. So a female representative reopens the case and files a dispute for me. I send via their website documentation supporting my claim with email between Leila and I at end of March snapshots of tracking number of product, scan of tracking number to Billings, refusal of acceptance by me, return to sender being processed, arrival in Los Angeles. On May 13, I hear back from Leila , she sent me a RETURN LABEL to send the products back plus charging me a 5 dollar processing fee. A return label for what? I have no product to return it has already been returned to sender initiated on April 4th per the tracking number scan. I contact Affirm again and spoke with Glenn for nearly 30 minutes. Again I go over what has happened. It’s as if no one is looking ahead information I had sent that I have no product to return because it has already been returned by the USPS over 39 days ago. A new dispute was then opened by Glenn, then I receive an email from AFFIRM saying I must submit evidence by May 18th or the dispute will be closed . My gosh, I had submitted proof with snapshots already twice in two days and now they are telling me to send it again, so i send it again and so now I wait the waiting game from Hell all over again AND by the way, I have tried now twice sending you the photos on this website but each time I do, there is an upload error and I had to start all over again submitting this information again and again so this time I am not submitting information via your website.
