Recently I had a lunch with my girlfriend at Chilis restaurant and we both were very disappointed with the service and food. It took forever to get our order and the food was not tasty at all. We made an order and their waitress messed everything up and brought us something that we did not order. She apologized and took away the plates. About 40 minutes later we finally received our food and it was all cold and not delicious! We left the place as soon as we completed our meal and we're not going there ever again!

upon arrival host informed us she never received that request. So we agreed to sit at the bar. order drinks bartender didn't know types of wine available had a few question about menu placed our orders. I feel the bartender was pushing the purchase of drinks. The meals were served rather late. the other to friends were pleased my not prepared properly I complained at that time nothing suggested to help the problem. Just happen to be the GM was in the bar one the my party suggested another dish. I refuse because it was late therefore I requested to remove the cost of my meal and he said NO that the GM. I paid for the complete meal $96.00 and change. The party of three have been dinning at chillis for 3 years. Therefore I don't believe the GM doesn't value us as customers somethings need to be reviewed.

very dirty floors and kitchen area was a mess
I went to Chili's Grill & Bar on Friday, February 26, 2016. Although the waitress was very sweet and was good on follow-thru, etc., the floor was so dirty. There was remnants of food, wrappers, empty butter containers, etc. and crumbs galore on the floor. When I went to use the restroom, you could clearly see the cooking area, which was unkept and quite a hot mess. I liked the service, but at the same time, I find it unsanitary to keep a restaurant looking that disgusting, even if it is busy. By the way, my pet peeve is a person sweeping or vacuuming while I am eating. The thought of the dirtiness being swept up or vacuumed back dust flying around my food makes me sick. Although I understand the concept of sweeping, it was still not enough for this establishment. The floor was disgusting.

My husband and I go to chili's about 3 times a month. The last 2 visits were terrible. Both of our steaks and veg were cold, by the time the mgr came to our table, we were almost done with our steaks. She offered to get us some hot fresh veg, but we were almost done eating, and we do'not send our food back. You think she would of offered us a free dessert or take something off the check to make us happy, nothing. The next visit was 2/25/2016. We had one of the worst waitress ever. She never said hi, just what do you want to drink. We both ordered 2 Arnold Palmers, that tasted like water, so my husband told another server, who told our waitress. Well she took them to the back and added more lemonade, so now were drinking lemonade, not an Arnold Palmer drink. She was pregnant, but no excuse for being sooo rude. No thank you at all. No wonder why this location has only 2 stars. The management is terrible, and for dinner the food is terrible.

On Jan 20, 2016 at 6:15pm, My wife and I took our daughter and her boyfriend out to a movie and a dinner next door at the Glendora Chile's. Our waitress was lauren and food server was teddy. The restaurant was not crowded at all and we were set to celebrate my daughter's 26th birthday. The food came on time and my daughter asked lauren for some pico de gallo. Lauren never came back! I had ordered the unlimited enchiladas and Lauren never returned as i finished my plate. We did notice that lauren went to the table behind me at least 3 times and that group was seated after us. The hostess did her best to not look at anyone already seated as she walked thru the area. Finally, after about 35-40 minutes, we waived down teddy. i asked for the next order of enchiladas & the pico de gallo for my daughter. He asked had lauren put in the order for them & I told him she had not come back since we had been served. we waited another 10-15 minutes, paid our bill on the remote table top machine and were getting ready to leave when she brought the enchiladas boxed. For the first time in my life, i did not leave a tip. Google Chiles Complaints. Called the manager and corporate! "Oh, we're sorry..the day manager said, 'we'll send you some coupons"..." How about a refund or come back & have a better dinner on on us. Worst service ever! A real lack of concern by management or corporate. yet when you google Chile's complaints...seems we werent the only ones that got horrible service!

I had a similar experience today . I asked for an alcohol beverage, waitress then asked for my ID not a driver license. I took out my only Mexican picture ID issued in California. He then said "sorry we can't take that " I asked "why not" he said to me "we just don't " My friend going with me then said ok I'll take the drink and she took out her California...

My oh my! The manager "jason" didn't even say "sorry" he (Manager) brings me a towel and a club soda after the waitress waste barbeque sauce on my green dress. This particular sunday i had to sing at another church. I gave the waitress my business card for her to have the manager call me asap! My dress was a personal loaner dress for the show that night. I had to pay got of pocket for cleaning! I've called the restaurant never has the manager called back! Please train your waiter's and your waitress!

My otherwise good experience at Chili's restuarant was sp0iled by a woman yakking on her cellphone at the top of her lungs. Her loud conversation was so annoying, and the staff at Chili's did not ask her to quiet down; very upsetting!

As admirable as it may be that Chili's has their "causes", it is despicable that they drive their agenda through deceit. I was just "blocked" from Chili's FaceBook page, my commment removed which you can see here:
"Chili's is becoming another Fox News outlet. I'm still incensed by their new policy of "no e-cigs permitted". It's fine that they have banned them. I get that...their choice, but...what is wrong is that they are telling their customers that the FDA has banned all e-cigs. This is an insult to customers who happen to be up on the news and know for a fact that they have not been banned by the FDA. When I asked Chil's corporate for a copy of the FDA ban they essentially told me that as far as they were concerned the issue was closed, no need for further communication. I love how Chil's has their head in the sand on so many issues and willingly misleads their customer base."

My wife and I went to eat at Chilis for lunch and nobody was in the restaurant apart from a hostess and two waitresses that were drinking at the bar when we walked in. The hostess greeted us and told us we need to sign their guest book and provide our name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address prior to being seated. We told her we didn't want to and she said then she can't seat us.

horrible service and health violations
My family and I decided to have lunch at chili's today despite the fact that we all know they have terrible service. We thought with them not being so crowded it'd be a little different. It was not! My fiance and I shared a glass of tea because they were so slow with the refills, also I found a long hair in my pasta. When I explained to the manager what I'd found he only offered me another plate of pasta, no discount or comp. I was appalled. I decided to go to the restroom which has a clear view of the kitchen and noticed all the workers in there were girls with long hair and NO HAIRNETS or even hats! I cook for a nursing home and we are not aloud to even be near the dining area without a hairnet! That is so unsanitary! Needless to say we will never go back to chili's in tupelo ms.

My family and I drove from out of town and went to the Mall. Chilis Was one of our families favorite restaurants were we usually meet for dinner. From our previous visits to Chilis in the past there has been an excellent experience..But this particular time in this Chillis we had a part of 10 due to our family comming from out of town..We arived at Chilis around 6:40pm, and was told by the host that will be seated in 10 minutes..The host then came back and said that we will be seated in 15 minutes, 40 minutes later still no seat..Meanwhile in between the time we were waiting the host was seating tables of 6 and 8 and even parties of 7..We kept asking the host when were we going to be seated and she said in a couple of minutes..After the 40 minutes we were eventually seated but she tried to make us split up and sit at two different tables, but all this time there was a table that seated all of us. By this time its around 7:20 pm we get seating then 20 minutes later we finally get drinks, we order food. We actually ordered apetizers then another hour we receive our food at 8:40pm we got the food before we received our appetizer, didnt get the appetizer had to tell the waiter that we didnt get it..He then went back to the back and said that they didnt make the appetizer, I ordered french fries but got beens and rice which I am allergic to black beens, my niece food didnt even come, so he had to go back and fix it, then he came back and said that they were out of chicken tenders. So she had to wait an additional 15 minutes to eat. We requested to speak to the manager but the waiter said that it was his fault, and we still didnt talk to one...There was one guy walking around speaking to every table, but ours...Im assuming that he was the assistant manager or the manager, but when we went to Chili at other locations, they made sure they made there way to the larger tables other than the smaller one's. This is the worst experience i have ever had with a chilis, and was very disappointed in my visit, and will not be back to this location. And will not recommend this location for my business anymore or anymore of our family gatherings.
About a year ago, my husband and I went for dinner at our local Chilis. We were seated quickly. We were told that 2 people would be serving us that evening. One was a young man and the other a woman. Why they need 2 waiters/waitresses is beyond me...anyway, the young man came over about 10 minutes later, no one asked if we wanted anything to drink...he asked if we were ready to order. We were, so we did, and asked if we could get something to drink as well. His reply was "oh, no one asked you if you wanted anything? well, I will go let them know that you would like your beverages." Uhhh, why don't you just go get them! We received our meal, about 10 minutes later a woman, the other waitress, asked how we were doing. We were fine at that moment. So, we finished our meal...without any refills on drinks...because no one ever came back to check on us. My husband wanted more soft tortilla shells so he could finish his meal and we were also talking about dessert. The young man came back to the table, with the CHECK! he proceeded to say that he would take that up when we are ready. I said "well, could we maybe get some more shells for his meal and maybe some refills on drinks"? he seemed unfazed by the fact that we had to ask and were not ready to leave yet...! So, he brought us drinks and shells, I asked for a take out container and he asked about the bill again. This was no where near closing, just FYI, it was about 9pm on a Saturday! So, then we waited for him again to come back with my container, which was about 20 minutes later and yes, by that time we were ready to leave. When he came back with the container, I gave the bill to him and said, "guess we won't be having dessert tonight...", no response...I sent an e-mail to Chilis after that. They did try to contact me by phone, it was the manager of the local Chilis, I was unable to take the call, since I was at work. The following day, I received a voucher in the mail for so much off our next meal. About a month later, we decided to go ahead and try it again and use our voucher, all was fine with out meal and the service. The manager who was working that evening, came over to the table (after we handed our waitress the voucher when she collected for our bill) and asked how everything was, it was fine... About 3 weeks ago, we were out and about and wanted to stop for lunch...well, we decided to stop in at that same Chilis, since last time was fine. Well, low and behold this visit was not...again! I will not be returning to Southgate, Chilis. We were barely waited on. Had to ask for napkins 3 times and you would think they were rationing them because she brought us one at a time, when one of us was having ribs! NEVER asked if we wanted another drink. At one point my husband had to get up and walk over to the bar to ask if he could have another. We ordered chips and salsa, which we never received. Even though we asked twice for them. Not sure if the waitress even cared if we got anything, it was not busy, it was early on a Sunday, a few people seated in the bar area. We waited a half hour to get our bill, because everytime we did see our waitress she was near the bar, talking to other employees or only taking care of the men at the bar...hmmmm. So, maybe Chilis in Southgate, Michigan needs to review their employees. Have better hiring requirements. Maybe hire some waitresses who know how to read and write, since pretty much they all seem pretty oblivious to what is going on and the waiters not much better, only concerned with when their customers are ready to leave! Not a good way to earn your tip money!

That does sound like some pretty bad experiences!My boyfriend and I had a waitress that never refilled our drinks either and would ask how we are doing but then walk away as we were answering.I haven't experienced anything like you did though.
Why didn't you ask to see the manager during your visit/meal? They can't fix it if they're not aware what's happening!
I am not sure what some of these other comments are all about. The bottom line I am surprised that the servers don't really understand how they're really compensated, yes, tips! Like I mentioned before you need to notify management when service is not up to par. Although Chilis is not a 5 Star restaurant, they still charge enough for their food to make a decent profit. I think McDonald's has better service than the service you experienced!

I did not want to bring this up but the reason I believe I got bad service from Chili's is because we are an homosexual married couple. You noticed this as well and made you rude comments. Frankly if they are going to discriminate against me for being a homosexual they will not be getting our service.

poor service and food
My husband and I called in our order to the Weatherford, Tx Chili's. Because we've both been working very long hours and were exhausted, we ordered extra so that we really had no worries about having enough and having leftovers when we returned home. We spent $50 for two people! We were absolutely fine with the price, but I think when someone spends that much, the order ought to be correct. Upon arriving home, I not only find that the sides are incorrect with my meal, but the flavor is less than appealing. I'd ordered a large side of ranch dressing, which we didn't receive. I ordered a drink to go and got something completely different, my husband's meal lacked very much appeal, as well. When I orders my meal, the girl asked if I wanted the usual sides that come with it. I said yes. Instead, I got nearly tasteless sides from two other meals.
I'm truly disappointed in the food's representation, flavor, portion size, and the fact that about four things were completely wrong with an order we spent half one hundred bucks on! Very poor job, Chili's!

On Saturday, August 4, 2012 I went to Chilis restaurant with my family. The four of us stood for 10 minutes waiting to be seated in an empty bar. When we finally got a seat, we waited another 15 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge us to come and take our order. The whole time we waited, there was a group of 5 waitresses laughing and talking in the corner. When the waitress finally took our order, she was very rude and tried to rush us along. My sister asked a couple of questions about your promotional "2 for $20" deal and was given incorrect information about it. (we found that out after we got the bill). We waited for our food for another 20 minutes, which was a little frustrating for 2 reasons: 1.) We had to be someplace by 7:30 pm, 2.) My boyfriend and I only ordered appetizers. When we kept looking for our waitress, we could see her once again in the corner with 4 other waitresses laughing. They were laughing so hard that someone had to come and tell them to be quiet. Our food and check arrived at the exact same time, which I feel was rather rude. Chilis has always been my favorite restaurant to go to, but after the experience we had on Saturday, we will no longer go there.

Plus there was dirty diaper with ### all over the changing table". I went straight to my waitress and alerted her about it all/. She said they were aware of the situation, but were too short staffed at the time for someone to go and clean it up, . The meal was less than satisfactory and tasted uncooked;. We hardly ever saw our waitress and left 2 pennies for her tip

I used to work for Chilli's and used to spit in peoples food, but only if they were turds like MsLea.

Poor managment? Poor customer service? Well we couldn't get served! We waited patiently, but still no service. A waitress did stop by our table with a buch of dirty dishes and spit out some words that didn't make sense because she was talking to fast! Oh ya, she was trying to turn her tables over so she could make some money! Well this table walked out after I watched 2 other tables get sat, drinks on the table and free chips and then there orders getting taken! Looks to me like this server is used to having this section all to herself but if she cannot handle it you will loose customers. You lost one here. We went accross the street to applebee's and the waiter there was very attentive and the manager was even walking around the dinning room making sure everything was gonig smooth! Don't go to this chili's if your hungry because you wont get feed!

My Second time going to Chili's Grill & Bar Restaurant will be my last, the 1st time was a horrible experience the food was bad, and the waitresses were lazy and stupid, I gave them a second chance, hoping that they have changed, and they haven't, the waitress was very rude & the food tasted worst!!!
