During a recent visit, I witnessed a cashier repeatedly licking her fingers in order to open plastic bags before handling customer purchases. This practice is not only unhygienic but also deeply unsettling for customers who expect basic sanitary standards when shopping. In light of ongoing public health awareness, such behavior is unacceptable and poses a potential health risk.
A simple and effective solution would be to provide cashiers with a wet sponge or damp cloth at the register, allowing them to open bags without resorting to unsanitary methods. This small adjustment would significantly improve the customer experience and demonstrate your commitment to health and safety.
Please be advised that we are preparing a press release addressing this issue, and your Westminster store will be cited as a specific example. We hope this letter encourages swift corrective action before the matter receives broader public attention.

Dollar Tree - Customer service
On Saturday, January 29, I visited your dollar tree in Westminster, SC. When I got to the register I had coupons, which I use out of necessity. No one knew how to scan the coupons. There were four people including the manager trying. The manager showed the cashier how to handle the coupons and opened another register. While there, the manager and customer began to belittle and degrade me for using coupons. "My goodness it's only a dollar" And many more comments. I had heard all I could handle and left in tears. Leaving coupons and merchandise behind.
