Cosmopolitan Magazine snapchat discover page

So today (28th April)i was reading the snap chat discover page for cosmopolitan about what to know if your dating a girl with acne and i didn't think much of it when i saw it but then after school a friend of mine got upset because she has acne and took offense to the page. She had finally built up her self confidence but the page upset her and dropped her confidence. obviously i thing my friend looks fabulous whatever happens but she feels very self conscious so maybe next time you could be more careful what you post. Thank you.

Cosmopolitan Magazine the product was featured on snapchat as news

When you write about acne and what you should know before you date people with acne can really put someone down such as myself. Experiencing acne isn't something that I and many other people appreciate. I feel self conscious when I'm out and when I'm at school, for me it feels like wherever I go everyone is looking at my skin. And then to have an article written on what you should do before you date someone with acne really doesn't help when your trying to bring your self consciousness up. Thank you

Cosmopolitan Magazine subscription I never ordered or paid for

Cos1564534111/0
For some reason you are sending me a magazine I certainly don't want and never ordered. Why am I getting your magazine? Stop sending them! They take up a lot of space in my garbage bags. My husband asked did I subscribe to your disgusting magazine because he got the mail and was disturbed it was even delivered to our home. Alt-left material is not wanted or welcome in our home. Again, I never subscribed to your magazine and don't want it due to its highly offensive subject matter.

Cosmopolitan Magazine the article of get out by kendra james

This is supposed to be an article about anti racism, right? But after I've read the get out article by Kendra James I was so hurt and out of my mind. She basically was targeting all the white women being super manipulative, not loyal and heartless. Being half European I am so disgusted by that, just because you're another race, there shouldn't be such thing as targeting another. In fact there is no such thing as "race" it's just another skin color. People get so drawn to movies that it brain washes them. It's a movie, it isn't reality. I would highly appreciate if everyone would stop this way of thinking. It is so unhealthy to have such big ego. I'm hurt because not every "white" women are that way. It is so rare. But same goes with the other races. Everyone has the ability to be manipulative and not loyal. Not only did she target white people in general but she should've admired that it's not only those races that do such thing. That article disturbed me a lot. I am a big fan of cosmopolitan but that gave me second thoughts. I know get out was a movie on black history month but it's not a reason to take advantage of it and hurt the others all around the world.

Way to celebrate black privilege, Cosmo. That's sarcasm btw, racism is racism no matter what the idiot liberals think they can change the definition to. Test to see if this article is ok by switching white with black. Doesnt jive, does it? Then its RACIST. This woman is a RACIST. It is hypocritical of blacks to put down whites, it makes everything you complain about fall on deaf ears and creates racial hatred. Practice what you preach.
Oh and Cosmo, you saying youre hiring giving preference to POC is discrimination and will land you in court. Black women are a minority, the people buying and paying for your magazine are primarily WHITE, and they have made you a success. Continue this bs pandering and you will fall as white women are sick of you assuming theyre all liberal or even wNt political discussion in a goddamn FASHION magazine! Stay in your lane. I predict with every black based ad riddled mag and white hating article s from leftist "journalists" that your subscription rate will drop and close you down within the next decade. Watch and see. Pander to your paying customers not a political agenda and stop discriminating against your own demographic.

Dear Cosmopolitan,
I am emailing your magazine today regarding a certain article authored by one of your writers Kendra James. The article titled Get Out Perfectly Captures the Terrifying Truth About White Women promotes a very destructive tone against white women. Personally I have read your magazine many times on different social media platforms and I have never seen any of your articles so charged with racial hate. I am unsure of what Cosmopolitan's article review process is; however this article racially singles out white women multiple times. I do understand that Cosmopolitan is a life advice magazine and your writers personal opinions often give your articles a relatable feel that works quite well from what i've seen. I personally enjoy how your magazine functions; however when I read your magazine during my lunch break and the first article I decide to read has the words "White women are not to be trusted" in the first paragraph I will admit my disappointment that such hate had infested itself in a magazine that thousands of readers of all races relate to and enjoy. A person should be judged on their personal actions not their race or gender. Generalizing white women into people who cannot be trusted only causes unnecessary racial hatred and I hope that your magazine recognizes this hate space Kendra James has created with her words. I would also like to point out the fact that your writer seems to revel in the fact that she is distresses a community of people (Proof will be provided as an attachment of a twitter post). I hope that I do not have to see this type of loathing towards any race or gender in the near future of your magazine. While it is your companies right to decide how to deal with their employee's I expect Kendra James to be made aware of her wrongdoings.
Thank you
(My Name)

Note:
I plead to all of you to express your opinion to Cosmopolitan.

I guess this is what happens when the articles deviates from "23-ways-to-please-your-man". The article was speaking to the experience of people of color who, even with "well-meaning" white friends, need to be weary of the limits of said friendship. She was speaking to systematic and societal issues, not attacking anybody personally. The comment that claims she cited Langston Hughes' attack on a 7-year-old is merely evidence of poor reading comprehension. That quote was not an attack on the 7-year-old girl, it was showing that boys that young have been caught up in an adult legal system simply for something as simple as an innocent kiss (nothing in the quote suggests the little girl was at fault...read it again). But I challenge anybody to go read up on similar situations (like the women who recently came forward saying she completely lied about her claims of sexual assault which lead to the horrific murder of Emmett Till).

The fact of the matter is, Get Out really does tap into the experience of being the outsider and how, even when trust is given, there are limits to one's kindness and, often, racism creeps forward and supersedes any interpersonal relationships we might have. Just because YOU might not see the situations as relevant, they are real (even if the movie twists these themes to fit a thriller movie plot). But hey, good movies are supposed to rile people up.

Sincerely, someone who has a penchant for salty white tears.

I finished the article and stared at my phone in disbelief that that article was a serious publication. She used the absolute of all white women so often that it was a clear example of targeting another race. How is this okay cosmo? I am a white woman who believes in the equality of each individual no matter their skin color, gender, and sexual orientation. I am saddened by the history of what white people have done to other races in the past but I am not who they are and there are many like me. The author may have been hurt in the past by someone of our race and gender and for that I am truly sorry but you must not blame an entire race for this.

That article was foul and racist, but most of all it was ironic. While speaking about the horrors or racism, Kendra simultaneously bashed and bad mouthed a race. How did she get this article published? It's a personal diatribe in which we can clearly sense the writers own personal experiences fresh and raw beneath each word. It's juvenile and belongs on a reddit forum. She cited the awful actions of a 7 year old white girl (as recanted by Langston Hughes) to prove that white women are evil. Is that a joke? Because of our history we therefore have an increased culpability to be evil? Yikes. She has some personal issues to sort through but that article does not belong in Cosmo.

Cosmopolitan Magazine political articles

I was going throw the cosmo Snapchat story this morning(like I always do). But recently my love for cosmos fun and entertaining articles has rapidly gone away. The reason? This morning when flipping through the articles I came across one called "grow the #### up mr. president".. Can you even say that and be proud? This is not the first article cosmo has had bashing the president(there is one almost everyday) of our country and I'm about fed up with it. Cosmo has lost me as a faithful reader because of their careless and unattractive bashing. I don't care if you like Donald trump or if you like Hilary Clinton. One thing I will never support or understand it's the disrespect of the leader of our nation. It is childish and immature, especially knowing you're readers have all different views on our countries political stance. So in conclusion who really needs to "grow the #### up cosmopolitan?".

Cosmopolitan Magazine magazine covers

I am a 25 yr old mother of a 3yr old. I have read the Cosmo and even purchased my fair share of them. I am aware of the world and society we live in now a days and its total lack of moral upbringings. I have look past and ignored the last few years of inappropriate covers titals and pictures but I drew the line today when in the check out line of food lion. Where I see the famous Madonna on the cover with the headline Sex sex sex! When do you stop and think for a moment of all the children much to young to understand or know about this stuff but olld enough to read that see this. And the horror their parents have face that their babies are being brought up in a society where its not even safe or comfortable for them to walk through a grocery stor without having this ignorance thrown in their face. Its as dirty as a playboy or pornapraphic magazine should they not be made to hide or disguise their magazine just as those are to be placed in public!?
Thank you.

Cosmopolitan Magazine coffee article

Yesterday I decided to catch up with Cosmo on their snapchat story, and one of the articles I read was kind of appalling. It was about coffee, and how this person who wrote it loved it so much he/she considered it better than any other hot drink out there. It was a very bias article and had no real facts on anything about coffee. It was all personal opinion, which is not how an article like that should be written. It should of had the benefits of drinking coffee, not why so and so thinks its better than tea and is some what rude about it along the way of saying it.
I hope that the person who wrote this article gets a good talking to, or even taken off writing articles until he/she learns that you can't just bash what other people like because it's not what you like.

Thank you, and I hope you take all of what I said into consideration.

Cosmopolitan Magazine charging for products I did not request

When I first subscribed to cosmopolitan I was excited because it is a refreshing magazine so i chose to spend for a 2 year subscription in between the time. I have had missed monthly subscriptions and cosmopolitan was kind enough to extend the subscription for any months I missed. My subscription expired in dec. 2012 They owed me until feb 2013. I received COUNTLESS HARASSING threatening invoices saying I owe THEM 15 dollars for my subscription. Automatically they take it UPON THEMSELVES TO PUT A CONTINUOUS SUBSCRIPTION FEATURE THEY I DID NOT ASK FOR. Its been 2 years and a lot has changed. Do to special circumstances I no longer can afford this magazine that I am forced to no pay for fear it can damage my credit. I was able to check a box to end the subscription policy but not after I pay this years subscription. I am very unhappy with the way I been treated and it has cause me to give huge caution in trusting in any MAGAZINE

Cosmopolitan Magazine charged for &renewal& after 1st subscription issue!

This company had an online ordering deal of $5.00 for six months of magazines. I paid in full and recieved ONE issue and I started getting letters from them- I ignored them since I knew I had already paid IN FULL, so after the 3rd letter I figured I better open it to see why they were mailing me- maybe it was a billing glitch. To my Horror- it was a bill for $21.37 ! saying- "here is your renewal bill! First of all, I never ordered a renewal, second of all my subscription had just started- so, why on earth would there be a "renewal" even being thought about? I will never order from this company again- they have no phone # to even get in touch with customer service! only an e mail or street adress to send snail mail to. All this aggrevation isn't worth the supposed savings You get.

Cosmopolitan Magazine overcharging

I was on the cosmopolitan website and subscribed (just 10 minutes ago!) and it said "36 issues for just $36 – SAVE 77% — Best Deal!". After I punched in all my credit card info and so on I got a receipt that said "We have accepted your subscription for Cosmopolitan and will charge your credit card $69 for 36 issues. Your first issue will be delivered to ------------------------------------------- in 4-6 weeks."
WTF?!?!
Also I did this deal along with it "Check this box to also receive 6 issues of Elle for just $5 more." and on the receipt it said "We have accepted your subscription for Elle and will charge your credit card $15 for 6 issues. Your first issue will be delivered to ---------------------------------------- in four to six weeks."

Also they have no phone number available on their website and when I try to login to "customer service" my login is continually denied.

I just received the magazine and it showed one year subscription until 2022. I read one of the review saying there’s a contact number on their first few pages. That is correct. It is the cosmopolitan info page. Bottom right is number and email etc. I called it. Ask them what is going on without saying the details. He seemed to know right away about my unwanted subscription. Then he told me i subscribed about 2 months ago from some third party online loyalty rewards company. I never do those shady stuff so I think this whole thing is a scam. He gave me the number to the third party and said that they cannot cancel and only the third party can. I insisted to talk to their manager instead. He forward me to her. She told me I will get 1-2 more months then it will be canceled. (Thought they couldn’t cancel...hmm) . If I receive after 2 months I’m calling back to complain. Make sure you block your number when you call. Don’t give any more personal info than they have already. She also said it’s a free one yr subscription from the third party. Yea sure... like companies love sending out free subscriptions for no reason. What I think this is all about: you may have subscribed to cosmo or some magazine years or decades ago. They have your info on file even after you move. They will find the new address. It’s not hard to track those info for these companies. They send out these free subscriptions to lure you back into subscribing again. They’re losing subscribers because everyone can get it for free or cheaper online. The only ones getting the paper version are doctors office or businesses lol. Hope this info helps and good luck.

Cosmopolitan Magazine billing

I received a notice stating my account has been brought to their attention for collections and my subscription suspended for non payment. I DID NOT ever renew this subscription. They also claimed they sent me several notices, but funny, this was my first one. I finally found their telephone number on the internet, but was not able to talk to a human. So, I cancelled with an automated teller. I'm hoping this does the job.

I too received an invoice from Cosmopolitan which I never ordered. I never received a magazine. About a month later I received a letter from a collection agency demanding money for the subscription that I never ordered. I did not try to contact Hearst but did write an email - which, by the way, was THE ONLY way to contact the collection agency- and in no uncertain terms told them that if they continued to harrass me for money I would report them. I have not heard back, nor have I received another letter or invoice. I have yet to check my credit report to see if they have dinged me there.

Cosmopolitan Magazine stolen subscription

I have subscribed to Cosmo for a couple of months now, but noticed that I did not receive my current month's magazine. I went online to check my account and noticed that someone had gone onto my account and changed the name and mailing address without my consent. I called a customer service number, and had my information changed back. I was told that I would not receive the magazine for the current month, but she would extend my subscription by one month to compensate. I think that is great. The problem I have is that anyone can log onto your account if you have this magazine subscription. All you need is either the account number or the name and address, both of which appear on the front of the magazine. Therefore, if someone steals your magazine, they can go online, log onto your account and change all your personal information to their own so that they will get the subscription that you paid for. That's what happened to me and I am furious that there is no possible way to prevent this. Cosmo's website does not even give the option to create a user ID and password to prevent this kind of theft.

Let me ask you this, so you were able to go online and see that someone changed the address for your subscription, did you write down the persons information?

After all, they did steal your subscription. The person must of typed their name, and address for the magazines to go to their house. You must have their name and address right? which you could easily file a report to your local police and post office... Stealing mail is a HUGE crime...

Cosmopolitan Magazine missing issues

I guess you get what you pay for with this company. I spent around $10 for a years worth of issues and they missed me three months in a row. I thought that price was great compared to the store price of almost $4 an issue. I should've wasted the money. When I contacted them they go on to tell me to contact my postal worker and fill out some form with USPS. My postal worker told me that if she had the magazines then she would've delivered them and basically they weren't at fault. I just love the blame game. You know, when a company blames your late or missing product on the postal service and vice versa. Not once was I given the 'detailed information' like they say that their CS reps do in the FAQ. I haven't been notified whether or not they will resend issues or extend my subscription. Their customer service has been less than satisfactory and I'm rather disappointed.

So after waiting a long time and sending quite a few angry e-mails; I finally got a response. They told me that they would extend my issues for the ones that I have missed. Although I'm still waiting for this 'detailed information' that they go on about. It took them way too long to get back to me and give me a straight answer. I can understand a few business days [at the most], because I know how customer e-mails can pile up, but the time frame that they had was ridiculous. I'm just hoping that they don't skip me again. I don't want to go through all of this again. Word to the wise, pay attention to what you should be receiving. I have been working two jobs and I didn't pay attention to my not receiving the magazine. Apparently I should've acted quicker. If you do not receive by the 3rd of that month, then you should contact them. I hope that this helps someone who is going through the same problem with this company. Just be persistent until you receive what you were supposed to receive.

I placed an order for cosmo magazine Jan 17 , $67.36 came off my cc and I have called the so called 1 800 number, never a real person to speak to. Is this company real? Will I receive this mag. or did I hit a scam? I would like a answer asap, I am a lawyer and will pursue this...
