For starters, I own two homes, I do not need a rent to own service for any reason. "BUT YET" I have been charged $49.60 several times by this company and I have never personally set up any type of account with them. This has been going on since March 10, 2023... "MY IDENTITY" - Including - DL#, S.S.# PHONE #'s, Home Address, E-mail's, Facebook,Twitter, AOL, Yahoo and Messenger Account(s), My Bank Account Info as well as The Cards attached to it. I've contacted them 3 separate times and they are still getting into my personal account and taking my money for something I never used, would use or would ever need. So how can they continue to get away with this and still be considered a trusted company? Does it not bother anybody that these people are taking food out of our children's mouths? Or wonder many elderly people are going without their medical needs and medicine's because of people not caring about their own man kind? BBB please post this statement. Thank you
Desired outcome: Refund my money please. At the very least, make sure that my name and all my info is entirely removed from the system. And all of my data is credited back to me in writing.

Its beyond ridiculous cause you can't cancel the trial.. This is called theft... I was looking for a house with a rent to own option, I paid the trial membership of $1 but got charged twice, never found anything in my area nor did I find an explanation of the options or program it was all vague so it's not worth anything I requested to cancel the membership twice and was still charged for full membership price of $49.95 I want my money returned as soon as possible. I used my card to pay the $1.00 to look at listing of house for rent to own and it still wont let me look at any houses. Know I had $49.60 taking out of my account that I didn't even know about so I want this cancelled so no more money comes out of my account as this is useless because like I said I still cant view any houses.

I was currently looking to rent a place in Lynchburg va when the seller directed me to the rent2own site to set up a appointment to tour the property which I never seen on the site they directed me to my card has now been charged $69 and never heard back from the seller .

This company is a total rip off. I signed up for the $1.00, 7 day trial and within minutes, they took out the $1.00 plus an additional $49.60. Also, within minutes, they called me, I told them to cancel my account, the person calling hung up on me, I then called the number on their website and I got a recording telling me that the office is closed for the July 4th holiday. Go figure!

today my husband informed me that rent2ownusa.com took out $49.60 out of his account. we have no idea for what that was taken out we did not rent anything we do not know how they got our credit card # and we would like the money returned as soon as possible i am handicaped and i am /we are living on a month to month budget and we need the money for medizin, food and gas we are retirees in the late 60 so please we need this money .

about being charged without permission
I was charged 57.04 from a rent2ownusa.com and i have any clue what this is! I have 8 children to take care of! Im on a fixed income! I can NOT afford this and im asking that i be refunded my money! I woke up checking my phone and saw that rhis transaction had took place and ive been trying to get in contact but my email said it was an error and that they would notify me in 48 hours if it failed to go thru! I received a detailed direct express debit card transaction log for July and August and rent2ownusa has deducted a charge of $49 both for July and August 2019. I have no idea how they received my card number and personal information. I have never been on such a site or even heard of them before seeing this on my activity log. I would like rent2ownusa to refund both months of $49 totaling $ 99! I have tried several times to call the number that I found on internet. It only tries to give you a vacation asking for a fee. After declining the offer I get disconnected. I cannot get intouch with this so say company. Please help.

Company is leading consumers to believe that they would deliver electronic products for a small monthly rental fee. They ask for initial $25 fee for application and that is all they would do. Company would take initial fee and disappear. Their address is nonexistent.

I had a similar experience with them to what mommy5514. Went through their entire process to be declined. By law they are required to notify you in writing if they deny credit. The only acknowledgement was they updated the account status to declined on their website. I checked with my employer, they never performed the claimed employment check. I checked with my landlord, they never performed an address verification though sending me the app in the US mail instead of e-mail would've served that purpose at minimal cost. I pulled my credit report to discover there hadn't been an inquiry on it in years. In short, the application fee is accepted but the application is never processed other then changing status on the web site. Even after 45 days my bank accepted that as a valid reason (fraud) to charge back the fee and refund it to me.
i just applied for a macbook and havent gone through the whole process yet. i am at the point where they are sending something in the mail to fill out? the application or something. Im going to rip it up and burn it! THIS WEBSITE IS A FRAUD!

I applied back in 5/29/2009 for an xbox elite for my son for his birthday. i am going to list everything from their site so you can see for your self how long it took for them to decline me. I did recive some e-mails from them after I kept asking what the status was on the order and explained that this was for my sons birthday and need less to say after two months and them supposly checking my employment twice they just declined my application on 7/29/2009. My son is heart broken because in one the e-mails they said that the xbox would be shipped soon. I have saved all the e-mails and am turning them over to the proper athourties their in Fla. here is the list of action taken by this scam company. I sugest that everyone call the better business beura in fla and give them the information. copy all the information from the web site. hopefully they can help all of us. I sent in everything they asked for and now not only did they take money from me they are useing my information in fraud. check your credit report and keep a close eye. this company is a real scam site. I will keep everyone informed if i get a new information
