I visited this Taco Bell location and purchased food as a customer. When I asked to use the restroom, I was told it was “out of order.” However, shortly after, I saw an employee exit the restroom. When I politely asked for clarification, I was told again that it was out of order.
This felt misleading and unprofessional, especially as a paying customer. If the restroom is restricted for a reason, I would have appreciated an honest explanation instead of conflicting information.
To add, it was the same employee who told me the restroom was out of order who I then saw exiting it, which made the situation even more confusing and frustrating.
I’m not upset about a policy—I’m concerned about the lack of transparency and how the situation was handled.
